Ikhras is pleased to announce the winner of the Muntadhar Zaidi Ikhras Shoe of the Month Award for May, 2012 is Ziad Asali. The president of the American Task Force on Palestine (ATFP) earned the prestigious ikhras shoe award by attending an Israel “Independence Day” celebration hosted by the Israeli embassy. As the Palestinian people were commemorating the onset of the nakba Asali decided to celebrate the violent ethnic cleansing of Palestine by European invaders and the creation of the usurping Zionist entity. Two photos (below) from the event emerged showing an undignified but smiling Asali with Michael Oren, the professional propagandist and war criminal (Oren served in the Israeli terrorist army during Israel’s invasion of Lebanon in 1982 in which over 20, 000 Lebanese and Palestinian civilians were killed) from upstate New York that was handpicked by Benjamin Netanyahu to serve as Israel’s Ambassador to Washington.
Ikhras is pleased to announce the winner of the Muntadhar Zaidi Shoe of the Month Award for April, 2012 is the Lebanese Collegiate Network. This is the first time the Ikhras Shoe is awarded to an organization. The report below explains how and why the LCN earned this prestigious award.
Ikhras is pleased to announce the winner of the Muntadhar Zaidi Shoe of the Month Award for February, 2012 is Lebanese-American buffoon David “Go GOP” Ramadan. Imad, his real name, earned this month’s prestigious honor by joining the anti-Sharia movement. Anyone who’s observed the public behavior of the most immensely grateful immigrant in the country will not be surprised to learn that as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates he is now advocating for passage of an anti-Sharia bill in the general assembly.
Ikhras is pleased to announce the winner of the Muntadhar Zaidi Shoe of the Month Award for this January, 2012 is Imam Feisal Abdul-Rauf. Speaking during his visit to occupied Palestine Feisal Abdul Rauf, a self-declared supporter of Israel, called on Muslims world wide to follow in his own foot steps and take a pilgrimage to the Zionist entity.
“I’d like us religious leaders to call for a sacred month that that will allow people to go on pilgrimage,” he said. If Muslims – including Iranians, who are often keen pilgrims – “felt free to come here for part of their pilgrimage, you would have easily tens of millions of people coming to Jerusalem…The pilgrimage to Mecca has always been an occasion for Muslims to get to know Muslims from other parts of the world,” Rauf noted. “If Muslims could come here, you could create some activity on the sidelines between Muslims and Jews.”
This purely political gesture, complete with quotes of passages from the Quran and absurd analogies to feuding Arab tribes in pre-Islamic Mecca, is intended to serve the interests of the usurping Zionist entity in three ways.
Ikhras is pleased to announce the winner of the Muntadhar Zaidi Shoe of the Month Award for this December, 2011 is Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi. Qaradawi, the President of the International Union for Muslim Scholars is the most prominent Islamic theologian in the Arab world and within the Sunni branch of Islam. He is best known for his weekly talk show program on Aljazeera, al-Sharia wal hayat (Sharia & life), in which he discusses a myriad of issues and their relationship to Islamic law as he sees it. He is also the leading figure behind the popular website Islam online and is among the most influential clerics and unofficial leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Ikhras is pleased to announce the winner of the Muntadhar Zaidi Shoe of the Month Award for this November, 2011 is King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The Hashemite puppet of Jordan has spent the entire month of November reminding the world of his family’s traditional role as a pliant tool of Western imperialism and Zionism’s best friend in the Arab world. After recently being invited to join the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the American-sponsored club of Arab reactionary monarchs, King Abdullah II has been working hard to remind Israel and the West of the important service his regime continues to provide them. This month he met with the head of the Israeli-sponsored, Western-funded, American-supervised Palestinian (illusory) Authority (PA), and hosted the Zionist war criminal Shimon Peres in Jordan. Next week he will be coming to Washington to receive his instructions and learn what’s expected of him in the near future.
Ikhras is pleased to announce the winner of the Muntadhar Zaidi Shoe of the Month Award for this October, 2011 is Palestinian-American Zionist, failed comedian, Radio Talk Show host (but only because he buys his own airtime), Jerusalem Post columnist, and former (following an uproar by members of the organization) ADC National Board member Ray Hanania.
Hanania earned this prestigious honor based on his last column in the Zionist rag that publishes his weekly blathering. In an October 25 piece Hanania criticized the Palestinians’ tenacious and honorable defense of their released heroes, compared an Israeli terrorist soldier to the released Palestinian prisoners, praised “remorseful” Israeli terrorist soldiers while describing Palestinian freedom fighters as unremorseful “mass murderers”, and “terrorists”:
Whereas on September 23, 2011, after leaving occupied Palestine with an Israeli-issued VIP pass, Mahmoud Abbas (aka Abu Mazen), the head of the Israeli sponsored, Western-funded, American supervised collaborationist Palestinian (illusory) Authority in occupied Ramallah begged the United Nations for a facade of a state situated on 22% Palestine;
Ikhras is pleased to announce the winner of the Muntadhar Zaidi Shoe of the Month Award for this August, 2011 is Mustafa Abdul Jalil, former Minister of Justice in the Mouamar Qadhafi regime and the current head of Libya’s National Transitional Council, a body championed and funded by the NATO states and semi-literate, Arab oil-Sheiks.
In the last week of every month Ikhras presents the Muntadhar Zaidi “Shoe of the month” Award to the House Arab or Muslim individual or organization in the United States whose behavior that month best exemplifies what Malcolm X described, in the language of his own time, as the “house negro” (see video). The award is named in honor of the brave Iraqi journalist Muntadhar Zaidi who threw his shoes at the war criminal George W. Bush at a time House Arabs and Muslims were dining with him at the White House and inviting him to their mosques.
Ikhras is pleased to announce that the winner of the Muntadhar Zaidi Shoe of the Month Award for July 2011 is Radwan Ziadeh. A self-declared “Human Rights Activist”, Mr. Ziadeh is currently Washington’s favorite Syrian and can usually be found attending meeting and events at the State Department and auditioning for a role as the Ahmad Chalabi of Syria. He’s very liberal, very Pro-American government– Basically everything America likes. Before presenting Mr.Ziadeh with the July 2011 Ikhras Shoe let’s take a look at how the Syrian Hakawati and inspirational, fiery orator beat out the competition for this prestigious award.
After a very successful first year we at Ikhras continue to look for ways to expand our unique coverage and provide our readers with a fresh new perspective. As we now enter our second year we will begin a new feature. Every month Ikhras will award the Muntadhar Zaidi “Shoe of the month” to the House Arab or Muslim individual or organization in the United States whose behavior that month best exemplifies the behavior of what Malcolm X described, in the language of his own time, as the “house negro” (see video). The award is named in honor of the brave Iraqi journalist Muntadhar Zaidi who threw his shoes at the war criminal George W. Bush at a time House Arabs and Muslims were dining with him at the White House and inviting him to their mosques. Arab dictators are also qualified to enter the shoe of the month competition. Contest guidelines prohibit any one individual or organization from winning the award more than 3 times a year. Sorry James Zogby. Ikhras readers are invited to submit their own nomination for the Ikhras shoe of the month award after the 20th of every month. Please include a brief explanation of why your nominee deserves the award. The winners will be announced during the last week of every month.
Ikhras is pleased to announce that the winner of the very first Muntadhar Zaidi Shoe of the Month Award for this June 2011 is ADC Chair Safa Rifka. Mr Rifka earned this honor for his role in the ADC National Convention scandal earlier in the month, his continued failure to repudiate ADC board member Ray Hanania after it was revealed he referred to Arab-Americans with a racist, homophobic slur in a private email, and his years of pandering to Arab embassies, oil-Sheiks, and US officials. On behalf of the Arab-American community Ikhras congratulates Mr Rifka for this prestigious award and expresses its gratitude for his role in presiding over the continuing demise of the corrupt and ineffective ADC.
