“DJ Khaled” & The State Department

The State Department which promotes and sponsors Dean Obeidallah as a comedian is now also promoting a Palestinian-American rapper and radio show host.  The State Department’s Bureau of International Information Programs which produced this video featuring Obeidallah (and likely facilitates and/or sponsors his Amman Stand-Up “Comedy” Festival) is now promotingDJ Khaled.”

Someone at the State Department thinks promoting Arab or Muslim American comedians, rappers, or other figures on the margins of American pop culture will help improve America’s image in the Arab and Muslim countries despite its hostile, belligerent foreign policy.  As long as the US continues to wage war on Arabs and Muslims, maintains its military presence and hegemony in the Arab world, supports Arab dictators, and provides unlimited financial, military, and diplomatic support for the Zionist entity, these cynical propaganda campaigns will be as effective as Obeidallah is funny. “DJ Khaled’s” music is not quite as bad as Dean’s comedy, but that’s not saying much. We’re Hip Hop fans but we won’t be buying his albums.

Dig the DJ Khaled link on the US Embassy website you provided. There it states: “Born in New Orleans, Khaled is the son of Palestinian immigrants from Israel and is proud of his heritage.”  “Palestinian immigrants from Israel” ??? WTF??

Ah, the anonymity of the internet…a coward like you wouldn’t dare say anything like that to my face, let alone in front of my husband. However, I did hear your mom is free for the evening :D  And the word “free” here can mean a couple different things ;)
